4 to 8 lb Brisket, trimmed
1/2 cup soy sauce
Few drops hot red pepper sauce
2 tbsp liquid smoke
2 tbsp steak sauce
Black pepper to taste
1 tsp season salt
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp dry mustard
1 tbsp garlic powder
12 oz bottle plain barbecue sauce

Directions:
Place brisket into crock-pot. Top with remaining ingredients except barbecue sauce. Cover the crock-pot with the lid and cook on high temperature for 1 1/2 hours, lower the heat to low and continue cooking for several hours or until meat is for tender. Remove the brisket to a platter. Stir the stock and remove all but 1 1/2 cups. Saved the removed stock essence for later use.

Return the brisket to the crock pot containing the 1 1/2 cups of stock. Add barbecue sauce. Put the lid on the pot and cook at high temperature for 1 1/2 hours. Serve
