½ lb Butter
Confectioners sugar (enough that when worked into the butter, the batter is stiff.
1 tsp vanilla

Roll fondant into sweet potato-shaped turds (be sure to make ends blunt, not pointy, or they will break off.

Tear off a piece of waxed paper and fold in half length wise. Open waxed paper and pour cinnamon into fold. Lay each piece of candy into fold and cover with the cinnamon.

Allow candies to dry. Once one side is dry, roll candies over to allow other side to dry.

Mom Mom told me there was never really a recipe for her "Turd" candy. So this is listed exactly as she told me. We all know, however we make it, it will never be as good as hers!
