1 cup butter, softened
3 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup confectioners' sugar

Topping:
2 tbsp lemon juice
Chocolate sprinkles, colored sprinkles, coconut, chopped nuts (all optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar in a medium bowl until light and fluffy. Add the egg, lemon rind and lemon juice and mix well. Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 375º.

Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased cold cookie sheet.

Bake at 375º for 8 10 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool.

Blend the confectioners' sugar and lemon juice in a small bowl.

Dip one end of each cookie into the glaze (Optional: and then into the sprinkles or coconut or nuts).

Also could melt semisweet chocolate to dip cookies in.
