1 cup butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/ cup cornstarch
1 1/3 cup flour
Frosting:
1/4 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
2-4 tbls lemon juice
zest of 1 lemon
Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter,sugar, salt, cornstarch and flour in a mixing bowl until blended. Do not over beat. Roll into marble size balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten with thumb. Bake for 20 minutes @ 325º. Do not brown.
Frosting: Mix butter, sugar, juice and zest together until light and fluffy. Spoon onto cooled cookies.
