1 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick of butter
1 egg
2 heaping tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
red food coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour & sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Blend in egg, milk and vanilla....roll out on a floured board.

For Candy Cane cookies....tint half the dough red and take a small amount and roll each roll until long & thin. Twist together and shape into canes.

For sugar cookie...use cookie cutter.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8 minutes.
