1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 t. vanilla
2 T. water
2 c (scant, but not over) flour
1 1/2 t. salt
2 c. chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and 3 sugars together; add eggs, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt and add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes or until very lightly tan. They may look undone - but they are very chewy.
