1 Chocolate Cake - baked, cooled and cut into bite sized pieces
2 large packages of instant chocolate pudding - prepared according to directions and refrigerated.
2 containers of Cool Whip - defrosted in the refrigerator
6 candy bars - cut into pieces. Butterfingers, Heath, Skor - your choice!

This looks great in a trifle bowl, but any serving bowl will work.
Layer the ingredients 2-3 times.
Cake on the bottom, spread pudding on top, next add a layer of whipping cream, then some crushed candy pieces. Repeat until your bowl is full.
Refrigerate several hours before serving.

Think about this dessert the night before... get the cake baked, the pudding made and refrigerated, and have the Cool Whip defrosting in the refrigerator. In the morning, crush the candy bars and assemble the layers. Enjoy the dessert later that day!
