1 lb. confectioners' sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 lemon
8 drops anise flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar 10 to 15 minutes in mixer. Add melted butter, flour and flavoring. Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut out. Let stand at least 6 hours or overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until edges are brown. Makes 5 to 6 dozen if small cookie cutter is used. Can use a springele roller and cut out.
