1 lb bowtie or similar pasta
1 jar pasta sauce
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 lb italian sausage or hamburger (optional)
1 cup shredded mozzarella (or other cheese)
1 small can sliced olives (optional)
1 cup cottage cheese (or ricotta)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta al-dente; drain & rinse under cold water until cooled. Preheat oven to 400º. Saute onions and peppers with meat in a medium skillet until browned. Drain excess fat. Add pasta sauce and warm through. Pour cooked pasta into a greased 13x9 baking dish. Drop cottage cheese by spoonfuls every few inches around the pasta. Sprinkle with olives. Pour sauce evenly over the pasta, top with mozzarella. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese has started to brown and the whole things ripping hot and bubbly. Serve with a green salad.
