3 - 4 lb. Beef Tri - Tip Roast
1/2 c. Jack Daniels
1/2 c. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
6 garlic cloves - minced
1/2 tsp. Dried Ginger
1 tsp. Brown Sugar

- Bourbon Teriyaki Marinade:
Cover 3/4s of shallow pan's (lasagna dish depth) "surface area" with Jack Daniels.
Add to this the same amount of Kikkoman Soy Sauce along with garlic, ginger, and brown sugar.

- Marinate Tri Tip 4 - 6 hours

- Make sure meat is at room temp before grilling.

- Pre Heat BBQ Grill 550 degrees

- Blacken (with crisscrosses) both sides of steak basting each time you flip.

- Reduce BBQ heat to 300

- Serve medium rare after 10 minutes of sitting
