Speedy Crust:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup vegetable oil
3 tbsp. milk

Filling:
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash nutmeg
dash salt
vanilla extract
2 tbsp. butter
7 Granny Smith apples peeled and sliced

Crust:
With a fork mix crust ingredients until dry ingredients are moistened and crumb-like. Remove 1/3 cup and set aside. Press remaining crumbs evenly on 9.5 inch glass pie plate bottom and sides.

Filling:
Combine all ingredients but the vanilla, butter, and apples. Mix combination in with the apples, coating evenly. Pour filling into pie crust. Sprinkle vanilla over the top and places slices of butter over the top. Top with set aside crumbs (1/3 cup). Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees F until apples are tender and crust is golden. (40-45 minutes)
