1 lb. ground beef, browned, 4 c. water, 1 qt. large can whole tomatoes, 3 beef bouillan cubes, 2 tsp. salt, 4 large carrots, 3 c. cabbage 1/4 tsp. pepper, 3 or 4 potatoes, 1 green pepper, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. basil, 1/2 tsp. dill weed.

Combine all ingredients except dill weed. Simmer for 1 or 2 hours. Stir in dill weed and cook for 10 to 20 min. longer.
