1 lb ground beef (I use ground turkey)
1/2 C Chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
16 oz canned but tomatoes
8 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp dried basil crushed
1 tsp salt
8 oz lasagna noodles (I like the no bake kind)
2 eggs
2 1/2 C Cream style cottage cheese
3/4 C grated parmesean cheese
2 T. dried parsley flakes
1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper


Directions:

Brown hamburger, onion, and garlic then drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes and next 3 ingredients, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook noodles until tender in boiling salt water as package directs. Drain and rinse noodles. In a bowl beat eggs, add cottage cheese, 1/2 of parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper and mix. Layer half of noodles in a 9X13 baking dish, then spread half of cottage cheese mixture, half of mozzarella cheese and half of meat sauce. Repeat layers. Sprinkle remaining parmesan cheese on top and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until heated through
