1 whole Fryer chicken (3-4#)
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt
1 T. oil
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1/2 C. finely diced onion
1 (4oz.) can diced green chilies
3/4 C chicken broth
2 T. flour
2 T. water
1/2 C. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Rub outside of chicken with mixture of chili powder, pepper, cumin and salt.
Heat oil in Durch oven, brown chicken on all sides.
Add garlic, onion, chilies and chicken broth.
Cover and simmer 35 to 45 minutes.
Remove chicken to platter, draining juices back ito pan. Keep chicken warm in low oven.
Skim fat from sauce in pan.
Blend together flour and water and stir into sauce, cooking and stirring until thickened.
Stir in sour cream.
Carve chicken and serve with sauce.
