1 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together first three ingredients in a bowl. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, bat butter until smooth. Beat in flour mixture and vanilla until well blended. Refrigerate 1 hour. Shape into 1" balls. Place about 1 1/2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Frosting:
1 1/2 c. conf. sugar
3 tbsp. butter, softened
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Put a dollop of frosting onto each cookie with a pastry bag and star tip.
