1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup water 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup chopped nuts 1 1/3 cup flaked coconut.
Melt butter in 13 x 9 pan. Add water, brown sugar. Mix in nuts and coconut. Spread evenly in pan. Add cake (delicious with a chocolate cake) and bake by cake directions. Let stand 5 min so topping sets and turn upside down on cookie sheet.
