Sara Lee Pound cake (or homeade), with brown sides
trimmed. Slice cake one inch thick.
cream sherry
frozen strawberries
fresh strawberries
instant vanilla pudding with 1 t. vanilla extract added
heavy cream
strawberries for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
In a trifle dish or glass dish that is deep and at least 12"
across, spread the pound cake across the bottom,
sprinkle with cream sherry, frozen strawberries with
juice, layer of fresh strawberries (stand on end around
glass), and half of the vanilla pudding. Repeat.

At the last minute before serving, top with whipped
cream and strawberries for garnish.

Add blueberries for Fourth of July.

Note: Better if made the day before.
