2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 15 oz. can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 2/3 cup (13 oz. can) evaporated milk
1 9" unbaked pie shell

Mix filling ingredients in order given. Place pie shell on oven shelf and pour batter into it as you do not want to slop the mixture on the crust edge if you can help it. Bake in a preheated 425° oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and continue baking for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.

Cool. Garnish with whipped cream if desired
