Directions:
This casserole dish has several layers - chips, meat sauce, sour cream sauce, cheese.
Brown hamburger meat and drain. Add sliced black olives, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes (while you prepare the other ingredients).
Mix sour cream, cottage cheese, and chopped green chilies. Set mixture aside. Grate cheese.
In large baking dish crush approximately 3/4 cups of chips (enough to cover the bottom of your dish). Spoon half the meat mixture evenly over the chips. Next add 1/2 of the sour cream mixture, spreading over the meat mixture. Top with half of each cheese. Repeat layers starting with crushed tortilla chips and ending with grated cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with salad, green chili corn, chips and salsa.
