3 cups self rising flour (a must)
1/2 c sugar
1 can beer (any brand)-not cold beer

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl add dry ingredients, mix. Pour beer down sides of bowl. Mix with wooden spoon until wet. No rising. Place in buttered bread pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

After bread has baked for 15 minutes, butter the top & continue baking. Let cool, then remove from the pan.
