1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the sugars, margarine and shortening.
Add the vanilla and egg.
In another bowl stir together cream of tartar, soda, salt and flour. Combine with the creamed mixture.
Roll into balls and flatten with sugar coated glass. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes
