1 cup flour
1/2 tsp white sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients, then cut in shortening until it resembles small peas. Add sour cream, mix only until blended. Knead about 10 times on lightly floured surface, to form a soft smooth dough. Pat out to 3/4 inches thick, and cut into rounds. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
