1/2# macaroni
1 tsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
3 C. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 C. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Boil macaroni in water until tender and drain thoroughly.
Stir in butter and beaten egg. Mix mustard and salt with 1 T. hot water and add to milk.. Stir into macaroni.
Reserve about 1/2 C. cheese, and add the rest to the macaroni.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until custard is set and top is crusty.
