3 sticks butter, melted
½ cup molasses
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
4 (to 5) cups flour
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, molasses, sugar and eggs. Add 4 cups flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves all at once. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Work in more dough of necessary. Shape into small balls and roll in sugar.
