Personal Notes:
This is my Tia Tereza's recipe. Tia Tereza is my godmother. She doesn't have much time to cook, but I remember her every time my mother makes her recipe. It is very sweet, as most Brazilian desserts are. Sonho de Valsa is a very, very traditional Brazilian chocolate. They are round, and come covered with a hot pink cellophane over an aluminum foil wrap. They are a mixture of a nut paste, covered by a lining of a wafer and then a milk chocolate cover. They can be found everywhere in Brazil, and even here in the US in stores where Latin American foods are sold. If you can't find Sonhos de Valsa, this recipe would be just as good, albeit different, if you were to use any chocolate wafer type candy, like maybe Kit Kat.
