1 cup ketchup
1 cup water
1 tsp. celery seed
1 teaspoon dry or prepared mustard
3 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil on stove. Simmer about 20 minutes.

Brown pork chops then pour sauce over and continue cooking slowly (uncovered) until chops are cooked and well-coated with sauce. (The sauce should become quite thick). You can use this on spareribs too, during the last 30 or so minutes of cooking/barbecuing.

In 1964 I met the lovely Linda Swanson in Palatine, Illinois. Rick and I were in Chicago going to school (North Park) and had just started to date. She invited us to dinner and the rest is history. I'm trying my best to recreate her recipe because for 1 year after Rick and I were married we had this once a week.
