2 cups half & half or homo milk
3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp onion
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup finely chopped broccoli
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions in butter until tender. Blend in flour and seasonings cook 3 - 4 min. Add chicken broth and cook slowly until thick. Stir in milk and cheese until smooth. Add cooked broccoli heat through. Pour into bowls and top with croutons and shredded cheese.
