1 lb lard or shortening
1 c boiling water
5 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
3 tsp Baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over shortening and whip and cool. Sift flour, salt and baking powder into the shortening. Cool before rolling out.
