Rhubarb Nut Bread Recipe

Mom's Recipe

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup sour milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups diced fresh Rhubarb
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

1/2 cup sugar
1 T Butter

Stir ingredients (except topping) together in order given. Pour into two well greased floured loaf pans. Combine sugar and butter and sprinkle over each loaf. Bake at 325
for40 minutes. Do not overbake. This bread freezes well.
