1 - 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 stick margarine
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese spread (also comes in port wine flavor)
1/4 c. onion flakes, reconstituted ( 1/8 c. water)
1/4 - 1/2 c. Bacos
1 TBsp. garlic powder (+ or -) to taste
8 oz. cubed Velveeta
1 - 1 1/2c. chopped pecans.

Let cheeses and butter come to room temp. Blend till smooth. Add other ingredients..Mix very well.Chill for 1-2 hours or overnight
Shape into 2 balls (or 3 smaller balls). Roll each ball in nuts. Keep wrapped with plastic wrap and refrigerated until about 1 hour before serving. Then let stand at room temp. for easier spreading.

This has been a family favorite for about 15 years at the time of this printing. My husband, Larry Luthe, helped me create this recipe. He was the official taster to see if there was enough garlic in the recipe. Before adding more than the recipe calls for, be sure to let the flavors blend together for a couple of hours.
