3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
1 tsp soda
1 1/4 cups oil
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
3 1/2 cups chopped apples
1 cup chopped nuts

Glaze
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a tube or bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, sift flour sugar, salt, and soda. Make a well in center and add oil eggs, and vanilla. Mix well. Batter will be thick.
3. Fold in apples and nuts and pour into pan. Bake for 50-55 min or until toothpick comes out clean. Pour a little of the glaze on cake. Let stand 15 minutes and turn out on to plate. Spoon remainder of glaze on cake top.
4. To make glaze in a saucepan cobine brown sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes stirring constantly.

Cake can also be made in 9x13 pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Pour all of glaze on top after it is removed from oven.
