13/4 Cups sifted flour
1/2 Tsp. baking powder
2 Cups oatmeal
1 Cup dark brown sugar
1 Cup shortening - Crisco
1 Tsp. vanilla
1 lb. mincemeat

Directions:
Directions:
Mix above ingredients together in a bowl and divide in half. Press 1/2 in pan and spread with mincemeat. Sprinkle remainder of dough over top. Press down. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

Use 11" square pan.
