3 Tbsp. Wesson oil
3 Med. size onions cut up fine
3 Stalks celery
2 Fresh tomatoes or small can
1/4 Cup vinegar
Juice of 2 lemons
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Cup tomato catsup
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
11/2-2 Tsp. salt
Pinch of cayenne pepper

Heat oil in bottom of sauce pan and brown onions and celery lightly. Add tomatoes and cook 5 mins. more. Then add remaining ingredients and cook together 15 or 20 mins., stirring occasionally. Makes about 3 cups.

Pour over chicken, pork chops or spare ribs and let simmer for 1 hr. but first brown chops on both sides and fry or cook your chicken nearly done before using sauce, and if using spare ribs, cook until spare ribs are well done.
