1 lb. lean ground beef
1 T. oil
1 t. salt
1 T. chili powder
1/2 t. oregano leaves
1/4 t. basil leaves
2 T. instant minced onions
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with tomato bits
5 corn (or flour) tortillas
1 c. grated Jack or cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in oil, breaking it up into small pieces. Add salt, chili powder, oregano, basil, instant minced onion and tomato sauce, stirring to blend. Simmer together 10 minutes.

2. Layer tortillas, sauce and cheese (ending with sauce and cheese) in shallow baking dish.

3. Bake in a moderate oven (350 F) about 15 minutes until hot and cheese melts.

4. Cut into wedges to serve, using a thin-bladed, sharp knife.
