1 heaping cup sugar 2 eggs 3 tablespoons buttermilk 1 cup butter 1 teaspoon soda 3 cups flour 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream butter, and sugar. Add eggs. Mix milk and vanilla together. Add to first mixture alternately with dry ingredients. Drop from a tablespoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350º 8 to 13 minutes.
