Beat 6 egg whites and yolks separately until very stiff. Fold together. Add 1 c of sugar gradually by hand. Add 1 c flour and 1 tsp baking powder.
Pour in a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes. Cool for about 10 minutes. Turn onto a towel and roll lengthwise until completely cooled. Unroll and spread with jelly of your choice. Then reroll. Slice to serve.
