6 ripe peaches
1/2 c. almonds (finely ground)
1/2 c. icing sugar
1 tbsp soft butter
Grated peel of 1/2 lemon
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the almonds, icing sugar, butter, lemon peel and enough orange juice to make a heavy cream. Cut peaches in half, remove stones, fill cavities with almond cream. Lay flat filling side up in baking dish. Pour remaining orange juice around peaches, and sprinkle peaches with sugar. Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes or until tender.
