4 or more pork chops, without added fat
1-1/4 cups water, divided
1-1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 small green pepper
Sliced pineapple, save juice
1 cup juice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown chops in 1/4 cup water and simmer 30 minutes. Remove chops and set aside. Mix salt, cornstarch, cloves, green pepper, pineapple, juice and 1 cup water in skillet. Simmer mixture until thick, stirring constantly. Add chops and simmer 10 more minutes. Serve over steamed rice.
