Ingredients:  
1 c sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
Dash salt
1/3 c water
1 T light corn syrup
1 egg white
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sugar, cream of tartar, salt, water and corn syrup to a boil; cook until sugar dissolves. Add to unbeaten egg white, beating constantly with rotary or electric beater until frosting is of spreading consistency. Add vanilla.

Will frost tops and side of two 9-inch layers.
