1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
4 large eggs
1 can 29 oz. pumpkin
2 cans evaporated milk

Top:
Yellow or white cake
1 cube butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, stir in pumpkin and sugar and spices. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour in 9x13 greased pan. Cut margarine for the topping add to cake mix and mix with pastry blender. Sprinkle cake mix on top of pumpkin mix. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes and then reduce temperature to 350 and bake an additional 40-50 minutes or until knife comes clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.

You can use 4 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice instead of the cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
