2 Tblsp. butter
2 Tblsp. flour
1 cup milk

For cheese sauce:
Add 2 oz. grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy pan over medium heat. Add 2 Tblsp. flour and whisk together. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Cook till thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Add about 1/4 tsp. salt, dash pepper.

For thicker sauce, use 3 Tblsp. butter and 4 Tblsp. flour.
