1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup pecans
1 recipe Plain Pastry

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter; add syrup and salt; beat well. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add pecans.
Pour into 9 inch unbaked pastry-lined pie pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350) 1 hour and 10 minutes - or till knife comes out clean. If crust or pie appears to be getting too brown, cover with foil for the remaining baking time.
