5-7 tart apples
3/4-1 cup sugar
2 Tblsp. enriched flour
Dash salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 recipe Plain pastry
2 Tblsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel apples and slice thin. Mix sugar, flour, salt, spices, add to apples. Fill 9-inch pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust. Bake in hot oven 400 for 15 minutes. Turn oven down to 350 and bake another 30-35 minutes.
