4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter
1 pound unsifted confectioners' sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Combine the rest of the ingredients in bowl. Add melted chocolate mixture. Let stand, stirring occasionally until thick.

Makes enough to frost 2 or 3 9 inch layers. About 2 1/2 cups
