1/2 cup butter
2 cups self-rising flour
3/4 cup buttermilk
Butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Cut 1/2 cup butter into flour. Add buttermilk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead 3 to 4 times. Roll dough to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with a 2-inch cutter, and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Coat with melted butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes.
