3/4 # asparagus
7 slices of bacon
1 10 inch pie shell
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup half and half cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 1 /2 cups shredded swiss cheese.
1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook asparagus in 1" of water for 4-6 minutes until just tender
2. Place bacon in skillet until brown and crisp. Remove and crumble
3. Brush pie crust with beaten egg white. Sprinkle bacon and chopped asparagus into pie shell.
4. In a bowl mix remainder of ingredients. Sprinkle swiss cheese over bacon and pour egg mixture on top of cheese.
5. Bake uncovered in oven until firm about 35-45 minutes.
Let cool befor serving.
