Sweet and Sour Meatballs Recipe

1 egg
1 med finely chopped onion
1 tbls cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 # lean ground beef(or 1/2 beef and 1////////////2 pork)
2 Tbsp olive oil

Sauce
1 20 oz can pineapple chunks undrained
1 large green pepper julienned(cut in thin slices
1/2 cut sugar
2 Tbsp cider vinegar
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a bowl combine first five ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls
2. In a large skitte brown meatballs in oil. Remove with slotted spoon and drain.
3. To skillet add pineapple, peppers, sugar, vinegar, oil, soy sauce. Cover and simmer until tender about 5 minutes. Return meatballs to skillet and cook until meat is no loner pink.
4. Combine cornstach and water and mix until smooth. Stir into skillet. Bring to a boil and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. If too thick add a little more water.
