1 cup shortening 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 c. white sugar 3 eggs 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp soda 1 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 375ºF . Mix shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, then sifted dry ingredients. Mix together and chill dough before rolling. Cut out and bake for about 8 minutes or until light brown.
