1 T shortening
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
salt
cut shortening into dry ingredients
1 egg
Milk for stiff dough
Sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Roll dough to about 1/2 inch thick. Spread sour cream on dough and roll jelly roll style. Place roll on cookie sheet and bake 400 until brown, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Don't know if it would work with commercial sour cream. We always used sour cream from the farm.

I never made this by myself. Mom would always come over and help make it. Vicki said one day she always hated to come into the house when we made it because it smelled terrible. I don't know that any of you kids liked it that well but it was one of my favorite meals.
