11/2 c flour 1tbsp baking powder 1 egg yolk 11/3 c water 1 egg white beaten stiff Batter firm white bread sliced Monterey jack cheese sliced ham sliced turkey powdered sugar 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and baking soda beat together yolk and water and add dry ingredients put in stiffly beaten egg white make sandwiches starting with bread the layering with cheese ham cheese turkey cheese and the other slice of bread trim fillings so they do not fall over edges slice diagonally and put tooth pick through it Dip in batter and fry in 2 in of oil 3 to 4 min per side turning once sprinkle generously with powered sugar and serve hot.
